Executive Coaching

Executive coaching is delivered based upon the ConnextionPoint Leadership Footprint below with a look at your leadership commitments from two venues:

Inside Leadership | The venue that involves leading your internal team, establishing and delivering the value proposition of the function, the efficiency of your function's cost & process delivery, the proactive versus reactive nature of the inside to outsider work load boundaries, load balance of the team, human capital aspects, and motivational /inspirational connection among your team ...

Outside Leadership  | The venue that involves leading solutions for the company from your functional footprint, what innovation & solutions do you and your team bring foward,  what is the point of view development & proficiency,  what is the balance of story versus data invovled in articulating a path forward to other functions and the whole of the company?  What problems are you entrusted to resolve?

Departmental Coaching

The program is designed to work from primarily one on one leadership coaching sessions with the entire peer group of managers with specific touch point sessions with the sponsoring management  and as determined group sessions for story development & alignment, agreements on work/load balance and priority, and inside/outside leadership work.

All coaching sessions are held confidential with three exceptions:

- Permission by the coachee for specific points to be brought out of session
- All visual models from the ConnextiontPoint Method™ are reviewed with sponsoring management
- Specific feedback as approved by the coachee and the feedback participant

The engagement is a six month engagement with once to twice a month updates and concept review discussions with sponsoring management.  The coachees are actively encouraged to provide frequent feedback of progress on the program.

Feedback:
In specific instances where the coachee is prepared and ready for specific feedback areas oriented to the brand aspect and interaction time aspects of this program, feedback input is gathered from select participants and upon individual request of the engagement is (coachee and feedback participant) the feedback is provided in tandem to the use of ConnextionPoint's visual models.

Tools:
Specific job aid communication and approach tools are provided and customized to suit the challenges faced specific to delegation, collaboration, and message/story development.

Debriefs and Guidebook:
Detailed debriefs are delivered at the conclusion of each coaching session and a combined recap notebook containing the key individual and organizational learnings, new approaches, and language is compiled for each coachee at the conclusion of the engagement.

Life on Your Terrain Observation Time:
When appropriate the engagement will include observing directional, planning, and work assignment meetings to understand delegation dynamics.  The engagement may also include "tag along" days to observe cross departmental collaboration meetings and discussions to understand collaboration dynamics.

The Season One / Season Two Engagement Approach:
Driving leadership from the ground means also taking the concepts down to the front line manager or key utility player level - reporting to middle management.  As appropriate after Season One- moving to facilitate the program down to the next level is Season Two.  Season Two is focused on specific high potentials and typically three months in duration.

Touch Point Season:
The is post engagement follow on work to provide touch point consulting and coaching to assist with rooting in and sustaining new habits and continued use of the visual models.

Optional Teamwork Sessions:
Story Articulation & Navigation: With the precursor including one on one meetings with all the participants, a session is facilitated to launch a productive dialogue on how the story is built and articulated around any one of the following areas:  Critical Deliverables | A Specific Project | The Value Footprint of the Function | Branding a Direction

Load Balance and Priority of Work Streams:  With the precursor including one on one meetings with all the participants, a session is facilitated to talk through the story of the current journey that is specific to load balancing work across the function and priorities - this session looks at agreement expectations and ways to more productively work through reactive versus proactive work streams.

Inside | Outside Leadership:   With the precursor including one on one meetings with all participants, a session is facilitated to discuss what the function needs from an inside /outside leadership stance and what the function serves from an inside /outside leadership stance.
